T'was the week before Christmas, when all through the land
Not a fat nerd was stirring, except for their hands.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that a magic weight-loss pill soon would be there.
The WoW players were online, making sure to be well-fed,
While visions of world firsts danced in their heads.
And Ellie on the couch and I at my desk,
Both watching Ra-Ra be very statuesque.
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the desk to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
A false alarm! Only some bums breaking old glass.
And now the results from this week!
I think it's pretty evident that the holiday season is a very busy time; so with that I am excited to see everyone start up again after New Years. My plan is to reset the distance plots to get everyone on the same page. I will continue to compile the results but I think the distance graph is getting a bit overwhelming.
And the map—notice we hardly moved at all, hopefully that will change next week as we all try to work off the Christmas weight on Monday and Tuesday!
I love that poem. That should be a Christmas card.
When what to my wondering eyes did appear, two fat nerds in holiday red running gear. With a bounce in their step so lively and quick, I knew in a moment vibrams were the trick. More rapid than eagles the joggers they flew, we whispered and shouted and called them by name. On Jono, and Brian and Ellie… Merry Christmas to all, the finish line’s in sight!
Wow, I have created a monster! I might have to host a poetry contest. Make some running Haikus!
And we can snap when people finish their poems!
