Happy Monday, everyone! To start today, I was playing with Inkscape a bit and made a little infographic. Enjoy!
This weekend went pretty well. Ellie and I finished an eight-mile training run that went a lot better than last week, though still not as well as we wanted. We realized we were pushing too hard the Thursdays before our long run days, so we are going to tone it down a little bit and see how it helps us with the long Saturday runs.
Yesterday we met up with some friends and enjoyed the annual Elmwood Art Festival as well as and some delicious food at Solé. (The tableside guacamole is pretty darn good!) As we walked through the festival, I realized that one day I'd love to be able to buy really awesome locally made artwork. . . . But after seeing some of the prices, it might be a while before I can do that.
I hope everyone had a good weekend with plenty of activity. Don't break your chain!
LOL this is awesome for u young folk, but I really can’t DRINK MORE BEER, or much at all, BUT the laughs are inspiring, the whole GROUP is inspiring and awesome, and it keeps me motivated!! I have fallen by the wayside, cuz SAT & SUN I was focused on staining my deck and had to GET ON IT, and today my walking partner texted me at 5:45 AS I WAS TYING MY SNEAKERS to say she wasn’t going to make it today, and instead of just GOING, I said to myself “OK, it is SO DARK, I will just lay down (so tired!!) until 6 when it gets a little lighter, but then I started thinking about my day, and I was like “OMG I have a meeting at 9 that I am not totally ready for, I really should just shower and get in there and finish preparing…” I will just walk at lunch (We always do !!) and then something came up and now I AM THREE DAYS WITHOUT WALKING!! and then I am thinking OMG I AM GOING TO BREAK MY CHAIN!! ok, maybe you are just freaking me out!!! (Just kidding, love this, the accountability is great (because if Kate sleeps in, I AM GOING BACK TO BED !!!!) Love you Jono 🙂
I’m glad you are liking it, I don’t know how you can get up that early to walk EVER, i don’t blame you for going back to bed.
As long as you get three days in, thats all that matters, don’t break the chain!
