The B.A.A. 10k is in just three weeks. I have been working really hard at staying on my training schedule, eating right, and maintaining that award winning can-do attitude that I probably have somewhere. Yesterday I set out to do my long run for the week: five miles.
I ran a 5-miler last week and while I wouldn’t say it was easy by any means, I did it without much pain and only a little bit of struggle, so I thought I would be able to go out and do 5.5 (maybe 6!) yesterday. I had been looking forward to my long run, because I always finish them and am so proud of myself, and the good feelings about my progress help propel me through the week.
