A friend of mine came up with an absolutely brilliant idea for the holiday season. Get a bunch of people to donate comic books and games, and donate it to a local hospital, mainly Womens and Children's Hospital of Buffalo.
His idea was simple, kids can easily get lost and immersed in the world of comic books, temporarily finding happiness so many of us enjoyed ourselves as children. An absolutely awesome idea, and as a nerd myself, I love it.
So Bubba created a crowdrise page, and within two hours, it hit the original goal of $200. That is a crap-ton of comic books!

The best part of this is that comic books are pretty cheap! Even a donation of 5 bucks will go a long way. If you can and are able, toss a few bucks at a worthy cause.
