I love looking at data, as evidence by most of this blog. Spotify aggregated my year in review, and I found it very interesting!
The Top 5 artists had a little bit of a surprise in it. The C418 artist is behind the music of Minecraft. Though I played minecraft years ago, I'm not entirely certain when this year I listened to his music. I would have surely thought that Jason Mraz or another one of my go-to artists would have been in the top 5.
The Genres made me laugh, seeing progressive bluegrass ranking at 16% of my listening, probably much to my office-mates chagrin. There is something catchy about banjos rocking out that can't be beat.
The top 4 songs in my play list rotation are all apart of my running mix list, though I honestly don't think I've ever run with spotify playing in 2014. It must be from all those late-night coding sessions blasting my pump-up mixes.
