Boilermaker 2/50 : Mieux vaut tard que jamais!

This is the second post of my daily recap of all 50 runs on the way to the 2017 Boilermaker. It is going to be a short post format with just notes that we can review. Enjoy!

With Ellie busy doing a Reform Fitness class tonight, this was my first solo run of the training block. Technically it was scheduled for Tuesday, but hey, shifting it a day and getting it done still counts in my book!

Actual/Goal : 4.0mi/4.0mi
Notes: The route we choose was a little bit more meandering than I anticipated. I was kind of pressed for time so I wanted to stay closer to home, which didn't pan out because I got lost in a tangle of residential streets. I am also noticing that Kenmore has pretty severe crowning on their streets, which hasn't made running very fun at all.

I started to fade toward the start of mile 3, but was able to hold on and complete the four with a barely-sub 10 minute mile pace. I'll take it!

Sidebar: I've started using MyFitnessPal again, feel free to look me up and track my progress there! I should be searchable under JonoBard (very original).
