Over the weekend I competed in my first triathlon of the season, Tri In The Buff! The race was a lot of fun, despite the 90+ degree weather. The swim was a little harder than I anticipated. Lake Erie has a bit more of a current and the waves were stronger than I expected. But hey, open water isn't a pool!
I've decided that I do really enjoy triathlon more than just running races. There is a ton more to think about, and plan for, but for me that makes it all the more enjoyable. Plus, way more things to analyze!
